Recently, there were a few scrammed cases found at Sim Lim Square.
I would like to share my thoughts on the recent scrammed Vietnamese tourist case and at the same time, to create awareness to people around the world including my foreign readers, to be more careful when making any purchase at Sim Lim Square, Singapore. Do not sign any agreement if you do not understand English. Get a friend to recommend a trustworthy shop.
The following two links mentioned about what had happened to a Vietnamese tourist who had purchased an iphone 6 handphone & being bullied by a seller from the shop called Mobile Air at Sim Lim Square.

As a Singaporean, I feel really sad to read about that. When I travel to other countries as a tourist, I hope to shop happily and meet friendly service staff. So if I am this Vietnamese guy, I doubt I will ever dare to shop at Sim Lim Square again with such a bad experience though a kind soul appeared and raised an amount of money which has tripled the amount that he has been cheated. This seller has seriously affected the business of others. His brainless & childish actions really made me feel like bashing him up. Cheating makes him happy? So what if his family got cheated one day too? Will he feel happy as well? I really hope that he can be punished as he simply doesn't feel that he was at fault at all.
Also, I would like to thank the kind soul here. I admired the thoughtful part of him for preparing a goodie bag as well for the Vietnamese tourist, which consists of Bak Kwa, kaya jam, and spice packs.
I hope that this bad sheep will not affect tourists to come to Singapore. I am sure that every country does have bad sheeps everywhere. I guess this is just a luck thingy.
Anyway, I hope this incident will remind every seller to be nice to every of their customers. Without the customers, they wouldn't have any income at all.

Nice Korean Food Found @ Bibigo Nex
Did advanced birthday celebration for my bestie yesteday & she requested for Korean food at Bibigo.
I always hear my friends sharing how nice the food was but I have yet tried it because the menu placed outside the restaurant, did not have what I like. So since my bestie has tried before, I shall follow her suggestion.
When we went in, we were given an extra 1-page menu and it did have what I like. Kimchi soup!
Barley tea is my all-time favourite so I ordered that and it's free flow too! For the hot one, it's $1 lesser. :)
Bibimbap is a must to order as most of my friends recommended it. We ordered one only so that we can get to try more side dishes. :P
So the following dishes were what we have ordered. Kimchi soup tasted average but I love their soft pork! Gangnam chicken was abit greasy for me. Seafood pancake was really crispy & yummy. I love it! Grilled Pork was good! Thou the portion looks like small, it's actually just nice if you ordered other side dishes as well. Lastly, it's bibimbap! It really taste gooddddddddddd! I don't really like to eat bibimbap but Bibigo's one is really very yummmmmmmmmy!
Overall, I find the prices were really affordable! Do give it a try & ya, I will definitely come back again :)

Nice Salad Found @ ARC
One of my colleagues requested to have salad for lunch today & suggested to go ARC (Alexandra Retail Centre).
We walked around ARC to see which cafe serves an affordable salad & happened to pass by Fresh Healthy Cafe. They are selling wrap, panini and salad. They also sell drinks (smoothies, juices etc) and soup too.
I asked for a brochure so that I can go back to my seat to choose what I want with my colleagues.
I was told by the staff that I have to order & collect myself. So after I gathered all the orders, I proceed to the counter. My order was chicken caesar salad & raspberry drink.
The serving speed was quite fast because my salad was ready within 5mins. Furthermore, I like their friendly & polite service because I keep seeing smiles & hearing "thank you" from them.
Anyway, here's my food review - The presentation was well done because it really looked very appetizing. I really got attracted to it! And ya, I love their sauce! The sour taste (guess there's vinegar inside) simply matched well with my salad. Chicken breast was tender and marinated with black pepper (I guess). Tomato slices were marinated with cheese. Actually, I am not a tomato-lover because of the raw taste but the cheese simply covered it and it taste really good! Most importantly, the portion was huge. I saw alot of angmohs and I think the portion was just right for them.
Really happy that I found such a nice place for healthy lunch!^^

Nail Services @ Cuttour Hair Studio
Cuttour is my favourite hair salon. I always do my hair there & have been their customer for 3 years.I did hair colouring, treatment & rebonding. Keigo is my usual hair stylist & is very good in cutting short fringe! I always trim my fringe every 2 weeks when I kept short fringe in the past. He is also very good in treating my hair too. They have another good hairstylist named David.
I simply love their services as they are very friendly people and always make my rebonding session very short by entertaining me with their funny conversations.
Other than their great hair services, they do provide nail services too! ^^
As tonight is Halloween night & I have planned to party with my lovely friends, I decided to do my nails yesterday after work. I shared with Jey, the manicurist, on what I wanted. I actually requested for something wild so I thought of leopard prints which is abit outdated but I still like it. She showed me a magazine with some Halloween designs & I decided to go for the ghost design as pumpkin face looks pretty common to me.
I signed for a $300 package so that I can enjoy a 10% discount on every visit. There is no expiry and it is transferable too. She has 3 types of packages and mine is the cheapest. As I am her regular customer, sometimes she will charge me at a flexi rate. :)

Finally, I got a chance to blog on one of my favourite chicken rice stall!
I ordered a drumstick with rice and requested them not to chop it because since small, I already got used to holding it to eat and it's yummier to eat it in this way where I can lick it too! ^^
This stall only sells steamed chicken. What I like about them is their chicken is very very very SMOOTH & TENDER. When I bit it, I can feel the juice flowing all over my mouth and yet I don't feel oily at all. The rice is really fragrant & chilli is good!

Random Tots - Act Smart = Look Stupid
Have been in the working society for almost 10 years and have seen through many types of people...
Sometimes I wonder...why do one have to act smart in front of people? Is there anything to gain? Or simply hate to lose? Those that I encountered, they are actually not as knowledgeable & intelligent as I thought. Only the humble ones are.
Frankly speaking, if you have to ACT it out & show to people that you are smart, you actually made yourself look more stupid. If you are really that smart, people will know. It's just a natural instinct.
Furthermore, this type of person normally has a negative mindset. People who are negative, it's hard for them to excel in anything. Only those who are positive & able to look at a bigger picture, are the ones who can survive in the end.
So let's be positive in thinking!

Curry with Chicken Cutlet @ Coco Ichibanya
Suddenly craving for curry with chicken cutlet @ Coco Ichibanya & decided to have my lunch at there! ^^
They always serve a big portion of rice so it's definitely a good news for the guys! :P
Normally, their service staff will ask for the portion of rice & the spicy level we want. I go for normal portion and chose spicy level 1. After it came, I think I should request for half the portion of rice coz it's really too much for me.
I love the curry gravy very much as it taste sweet & spicy at the same time! Chicken cutlet taste crispy & good. The price is reasonable & service is not bad. I feel that it's worth to give it a try :) I will definitely come back for it! ^^
